For readers who have not seen the film, Kojima refers to batman Lego the version of the relationship between Batman and the Joker. The perception of the guovester of that relationship is a catalyst for much of the external conflict of the film, since the guorda is despised after declaring Batman’s greatest enemy. Batman’s perception about the relationship is used as another example of how the hero refuses to engage in relationships, as he does it later with Robin and Batgirl. However, the conclusion of the film sees Batman forced to admit that Joker gives him a purpose, embracing the mortal enemy of him as he does with his family of him. These sequences clearly had a strong impact on Kojima, and it is interesting to see how they managed to resonate with the Creator!
