The British Academy of Cinematographic and Television Arts has made public nominations to the BAFTA Awards of Videogames of 2022, the gala corresponding to the titles launched in 2021. The winners will know them in the delivery that will take place on April 7.

There are six nominees among the best games of the year: DEATHLOOP , Forza Horizon 5 , inscryption , RATCHET & CLANK: A separate dimension , IT Takes Two and RURNAL , with a psychonauts 2 that has been out of this list. They are precisely the last two, the cooperative of Hazelight Studios and the Rogue-Like_ of Housemarque (with 9 and 8 nominations, respectively) those who opt for more prizes in the British Gala.

In those chosen by the public, on the other hand, the thing is not equal: of those six only remain it Takes Two and Deathloop, and the rest are exchanged for Chicory: A Colorful Tale , The Forgotten City * *, Metroid Dread and Unpacking **.

As we told you when we talked about the most important awards of video games, these prizes have chosen a jury composed of between nine and twelve industry experts, and are chaired by a member or former member of the BAFTA committee.
